What is the Visa New Card Issuance Campaign?

Visa has launched a nationwide campaign to reward new cardholders who activate and use their Visa credit or forex prepaid cards. It’s essentially a free welcome voucher for doing something you’d do anyway — making your first purchase.

The campaign runs from 7 February 2026 to 31 October 2026, so there’s time, but vouchers are limited — first come, first served.

How Much Voucher Can You Get? 💰

The voucher amount depends on the type of Visa card you hold:

So if you have a Visa Signature or Infinite credit card, this is a solid free benefit just for activating your card!

Eligibility — Who Can Claim This Offer? ✅

To qualify, you need:

• A new Visa consumer credit card or new Visa forex prepaid card issued by any licensed Indian bank/issuer
• Complete at least one eligible transaction during the campaign period:
  • Credit card: Single transaction of ₹300 or more (online or in-store, no cash withdrawals)
  • Forex card: Single international transaction worth USD 4 or more (including international ATM withdrawals)

That’s it. One transaction and you’re eligible.

⚠️ Note: Only one voucher per card and one voucher per person — even if you hold multiple Visa cards.

How to Claim Your Visa Voucher — Step by Step 🎯

1. Visit the official Visa offer page: https://www.visa.co.in/pay-with-visa/welcome-offer.html
2. Click on “Claim” on the landing page
3. Enter your card number and required details
4. Your applicable voucher will be shown on the website
5. You may also receive the voucher details via SMS

⏱️ Important timing: You can only claim your voucher 5 days after making the eligible transaction. The claim window closes 95 days from your transaction date — so don’t wait too long!

Once claimed, the voucher must be used within 90 days.

Where Can You Use the Voucher? 🛍️

You can redeem the voucher on any one of these platforms:

• Amazon Pay — Add to your Amazon Pay balance and use on Amazon.in
• Swiggy — Add to Swiggy Money and use on food/grocery orders

Amazon Pay Voucher — How to Redeem

2. Log in to your Amazon.in account
3. Enter the 14-digit gift card code
4. Click “Apply to Your Balance”
5. Balance is auto-applied at checkout on your next purchase

📌 The Amazon Pay balance is valid for 3 months from the date of claim. The underlying gift card expires 1 year from issuance.

Swiggy Voucher — How to Redeem

1. Open the Swiggy app
2. Go to Profile → Swiggy Money/Wallet
3. Tap “Add Money” or “Claim Voucher”
4. Enter the voucher code and PIN → Click “Apply”

📌 Swiggy voucher code is valid for 3 months. Once added to Swiggy Money, you get 1 year to use it. Works on all Swiggy orders except Minis.

Zomato Voucher — How to Redeem

1. Open the Zomato app → Profile → Money
2. Tap “Claim a Gift Card”
3. Enter the 16-digit code + 6-digit PIN → Click “Claim”

📌 Valid for 3 months from claim date. Effective July 2025, Zomato Money can only be used for food delivery (not dining bills).

Flipkart Voucher — How to Redeem

1. Add items to cart on Flipkart → Proceed to Pay
2. Select “Pay By Gift Card”
3. Enter the 16-digit card number + PIN
4. Pay remaining balance (if any) via Visa card

📌 Flipkart gift card is valid for 12 months from issuance.

Absolutely yes. If you’ve just received a new Visa Signature or Infinite card, you’re getting a ₹500–₹750 voucher for spending just ₹300 once. That’s essentially free money for a transaction you’d make anyway.
